Smackdown Women’s Champion takes the No.1 spot on Top 10 wrestlers of 2020
Sasha Banks
The current Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has taken the number one spot on the list of Top 10 wrestlers of 2020. Banks beat the likes of Jon Moxley and Drew McIntyre to top the list curated by Sports Illustrated.
Last year, two lists were released, one each for male and female superstars. Jon Moxley and Becky Lynch topped their respective lists in 2019. However, this year the lists were combined, and Banks took the top spot.
The Top 10 rankings on the list are:
- Sasha Banks
- Jon Moxley
- Drew McIntyre
- Tetsuya Naito
- Kenny Omega
- Bayley
- Io Shirai
- Kota Ibushi
- Roman Reigns
- Eddie Kingston
The factors that were taken into consideration for putting this list together were in-ring skills, impact of work and the attention they garnered. Notably, half of the list consists of WWE superstars. The list also made a mention to the notable omissions of the list – Asuka and Finn Balor among others.
