‘Put up $2 million and we’ll match it’ – Snoop Dogg’s offer to Dana White for the upcoming Jake Paul vs Ben Askren fight

‘Put up $2 million and we’ll match it’ – Snoop Dogg’s offer to Dana White for the upcoming Jake Paul vs Ben Askren fight

Former UFC fighter Ben Askren will be taking on YouTuber Jake Paul in a boxing match on the 17th of April. This will be Ben Askren’s pro-boxing debut.

Elsewhere, Askren’s former boss Dana White seems pretty confident that he can easily pull off a victory against Jake Paul. Speaking in a recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Dana claimed, “I hope you can bet on this thing, cause I’ll bet a million dollars that he loses this f*cking fight. Bet a million dollars that he loses this fight. I hope we can bet on this.”

Dana’s offer spread like wildfire and Jake Paul immediately replied, “Dana let’s double the bet up!” Paul wrote on Instagram. “$2 Million. We wire the money into escrow. $4 million total. Winner takes all.” More recently, popular rapper Snoop Dogg who is siding with Jake Paul, has asked Dana White to bet 2 million on Ben Askren.

Snoop Dogg was quoted as saying, “Hey Dana White, I see you got faith in your boy right? Going up against my guy Jake. You say you got a million? You’re the CEO of UFC. You got more than a million. Put up two. Put up $2 million and we’ll match it.”

Jake Paul is currently 2-0 up in his professional boxing career, although both the fights have been against non-combat sports personalities – YouTuber AnesonGib and Basketballer Nate Robinson. This will be the first time he will be taking on a combat-sports athlete (still, not a boxer).

Askren, on the other hand, has not competed since 2019, when he announced his retirement against Demian Maia. The renowned wrestler will be looking forward to starting his boxing career with a bang.
