Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline continued to assert their dominance on the latest episode of SmackDown. The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief hung Cody Rhodes by the ropes and forced him to watch the rest of the faction decimate his friend, Randy Orton. Amid his rebellion, Sikoa sent a bold message to Roman Reigns following the events on the blue brand last night.
In a clip posted by WWE’s official X account, the former Enforcer looked down the camera and took a shot at his cousin. Replicating Reigns’ infamous promo, Sikoa claimed that he was the one who owned and ran the entire show. Meanwhile, the other members of The Bloodline walked to the back with a menacing look on their faces.
Since WrestleMania, the former NXT North American Champion has slowly taken over the reins. Whether it was removing Jimmy Uso to bringing in alleged criminals, the heirarchy of The Bloodline has significantly changed. Moreover, Solo Sikoa crossed the line when the faction brutalized Paul Heyman. The latter had refused to acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief, proving his loyalty to Reigns.
After pinning Rhodes at Money in the Bank, the 31-year-old promised to bring back the same championship that the former Shield member lost at WrestleMania. As such, Sikoa will now be facing The American Nightmare in the main event of SummerSlam. All in all, the upcoming weeks of SmackDown television will certainly be captivating to see.
Roman Reigns close to returning to WWE: Reports
With Solo Sikoa headlining SummerSlam, fans are expecting a major surprise at the end of the show. To be more precise, they are eagerly anticipating the return of Roman Reigns. In light of that speculation, there is a positive update regarding The Tribal Chief’s status.
According to PWN, the Head of the Table is indeed expected to be back in WWE around SummerSlam. Another report suggested that Jimmy Uso has also been cleared to return soon. Hence, it seems that The Bloodline saga will be receiving a major boost in the form of Reigns and Uso.
Following his antics, the former Shield member will most likely confront his former right-hand man. However, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him go toe-to-toe with Cody Rhodes in a WrestleMania rematch. After all, Paul Heyman disclosed that Reigns would challenge his rival upon returning to WWE.
