There are three things in life that are certain: death, taxes, and Cody Rhodes remaining stuck in The Bloodline storyline. After concluding his rivalry with Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble, Rhodes once again came at odds with the faction. In the main event of last night’s SmackDown, Rhodes teamed with Jey Uso to take on Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. The match ended with Rhodes pinning Tonga after hitting him with a Cross Rhodes.

The Undisputed WWE Champion’s celebration was cut short, however, as Solo Sikoa emerged to lay him out with a Samoan Spike. This is the first time that Sikoa has appeared on WWE programming since walking out on SmackDown a few weeks back. At the time, this left fans confused as to what Sikoa’s next move could be. It seems that he wants another piece of championship gold, targeting Rhodes once again last night.

Sikoa had feuded with The American Nightmare last summer for the Undisputed WWE Title. Despite facing him twice, the former NXT North American Champion failed to dethrone Rhodes. Months later, Sikoa lost his position as The Tribal Chief and control over the Ula Fala after losing to Roman Reigns at the Raw Netflix premiere.

Since the aforementioned walkout segment, Fatu had taken over as the faction’s leader. Amidst Sikoa’s absence, The Samoan Werewolf terrorized WWE on a weekly basis. From bludgeoning Braun Strowman at Saturday Night’s Main Event to wreaking havoc in the Royal Rumble, Fatu’s rise was a welcome surprise. Now with Sikoa back in the mix, it will be interesting to see how the dynamics between the two change.

WWE Universe reacts to Solo Sikoa returning to attack Cody Rhodes on SmackDown

The WWE Universe was divided on seeing Solo Sikoa back on last night’s SmackDown. Following his promo, some were under the belief that Sikoa was no longer in WWE. As such, they were surprised to see him return and lay out Cody Rhodes, of all people.

Many thought that this was pointless, as Sikoa will likely not win against Rhodes this time around as well. Users predicted that this would lead to a match between the pair at the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE. Moreover, this could kickstart a WrestleMania program between Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Meanwhile, other fans poked fun at Sikoa for wearing the same hoodie every time he launches a sneak attack on his rivals. Additionally, fans expressed their disappointment in seeing The American Nightmare constantly stuck in The Bloodline vortex, especially during the WrestleMania season.
