The Bloodline 2.0 leader, Solo Sikoa, has had a rollercoaster run on the main roster. He’s had several chances to win the WWE World Championship but came up short each time, thanks to the reigning champion, Cody Rhodes. Sikoa extended his losing streak against The American Nightmare after they faced off once again for the title.

Cody Rhodes and the former NXT North American Champion faced off once again in a dark match after SmackDown went off the air. As usual, Sikoa had Tama Tonga in his corner, who tried to distract the champion. However, nothing worked. When Sikoa went for the Samoan Spike, Rhodes dodged it and hit three consecutive Cross Rhodes to secure the win.

The 32-year-old star holds an unwanted record—he has lost every match against the current WWE Champion. He’s currently in an interesting phase, with power dynamics within The Bloodline constantly shifting. After Jacob Fatu sabotaged the U.S. Title match between LA Knight and Braun Strowman a few weeks ago, Sikoa was upset that Fatu made the decision without consulting him or Tonga.

The Samoan Werewolf warned both men, saying he would win the United States Title with or without their help. This heated segment could set the stage for a future rivalry between Fatu and Sikoa. As for Rhodes, after being brutally attacked by a villainous John Cena at Elimination Chamber, he is set to defend his title against The Franchise Player in the Night 2 main event of WrestleMania 41.

Could Solo Sikoa be Randy Orton’s new WrestleMania opponent after Kevin Owens opted out?

Kevin Owens recently announced that he had suffered a serious neck injury, leaving Randy Orton without an opponent for WrestleMania. The Bloodline 2.0 could step in, as Orton has a history with the group. With no current storyline for him, WWE might kick off a new rivalry between them.

The 14-time World Champion still holds a grudge against Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Orton hasn’t forgotten how the group sidelined him for 18 months. Since his return, The Viper has targeted the Original Tribal Chief but has yet to get revenge on the rest of The Bloodline.

Another speculation is that if this match happens in WWE, fans might witness a major betrayal. Fatu could finally break away from The Bloodline by turning on his fellow members at the grandest stage of them all. Fans are eagerly waiting for the next episode of SmackDown to see if Sikoa will be announced as The Legend Killer’s opponent at WrestleMania.

Why Solo Sikoa failed to make any impact despite becoming the Bloodline’s leader?

When Sikoa debuted on the main roster and helped Reigns retain his title at Clash at the Castle three years ago, he looked like a major force. He even defeated top stars like Cena, Rhodes, and Reigns himself. However, his career didn’t take off the way the WWE Universe expected. There are a few reasons why it looks like Triple H may have lost faith in him.

He has very few wins to his name, with his last singles victory coming in October of last year. Because of his heel persona, Sikoa has also lost frequently at WWE house shows. One major reason for his decline is that he hasn’t come across as a legitimate threat to his opponents—unlike Jacob Fatu, who has recently gained more popularity and credibility.

As of now, Sikoa has no match scheduled for WrestleMania and is set to miss his third straight appearance at the event. Like before, he might accompany Fatu during his U.S. Title match against Knight. Unlike Fatu, the former NXT North American Champion remains trapped in The Bloodline storyline and is struggling to break free. Only time will tell what the future holds for him.
