Solo Sikoa finally ended his 41-match losing streak at a live event. It was a tag team match in which he and his MFT, Tama Tonga, defeated LA Knight and Randy Orton. This marked his first win since he defeated John Cena at Crown Jewel last year.

WWE held a live event at the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy. The match card consisted of five championship matches, with a tag team match that paired Knight and Randy Orton against The Bloodline. The new attitude certainly changed Sikoa’s fortunes, as he finally won after 41 straight losses. However, he still ended the day on a bad note as The Viper struck him with an RKO while The Megastar hit Tama Tonga with a BFT after the match.

After Roman Reigns‘ historic title run ended at the hands of Cody Rhodes, Solo stepped up and took charge of The Bloodline. The 31-year-old orchestrated an evil plan to make his own Bloodline as Tonga made his debut and attacked Jimmy Uso. The duo soon showed what they were capable of as they brutally attacked Kevin Owens on the April 19 episode of SmackDown.

Solo Sikoa and Tonga made a massive blunder by making an enemy out of Orton, who emerged last week to defend his ally. In the aftermath of the brawl, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announced that Owens and Orton would take on The Bloodline in a tag team match at Backlash in France. It will be interesting to see whether they can score another victory over the unlikely duo or not.

WWE veteran says Solo Sikoa isn’t ready to be The Tribal Chief just yet

Although Solo Sikoa has unleashed his ruthless side since WrestleMania XL, Matt Morgan still isn’t fully behind the idea. The WWE veteran felt that The Enforcer wasn’t ready for the big spotlight just yet.

While speaking on the Gigantic Pop podcast, The Blueprint was asked about the 31-year-old’s attempt to take over The Bloodline. He stated that either Jimmy or Jey Uso should’ve taken on the role of The Tribal Chief, instead of Solo. Although Morgan admitted that his facial expressions when fans react to him have improved, he still needed more time to grow into the role.

He's not there yet. He's getting there. His facial is getting pretty good. Fans are chanting at him.

Having said that, it certainly won’t be an easy job for Sikoa to replicate the success Roman Reigns brought to The Bloodline. Nonetheless, the match against Owens and Orton at Backlash could be essential, as a win over them would truly help them regain their dominance over the blue brand.
