The Bloodline has undergone a drastic transition since Roman Reigns‘ absence following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. On the SmackDown after WrestleMania, Solo Sikoa introduced Tama Tonga, and it was clear that he wanted to be the Head of the Table and was forming his own Bloodline. That became more clear when Tonga Loa made his debut at Backlash in France.
However, with his actions on the latest episode of SmackDown, fans knew that he was trying to completely replace Roman Reigns. Solo Sikoa, along with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, took on the trio of Kevin Owens and The Street Profits. Chaos erupted when the self-proclaimed Bloodline leader struck The Prizefighter with a chair, resulting in their disqualification.
Sikoa followed that up with a devastating Spear to Montez Ford. The dangerous group then executed the notorious Shield Triple Powerbomb on the 39-year-old star, sending him crashing through the table. What fans noticed was that both moves Solo performed were Reigns’ iconic moves, further signifying his desire to become The Tribal Chief.
Earlier in the episode, Paul Heyman announced that until Reigns remained absent, the 30-year-old would be the official Head of the Table. The WWE Universe didn’t take this announcement well and let their voices be heard with chants of “We Want Roman.” As of now, there is no confirmed return date for the former Shield member, but when he does come back, it will be a huge moment in the Bloodline saga.
Fans reacted to Solo Sikoa performing Roman Reigns’ moves to assert himself as the new Tribal Chief on SmackDown
Solo Sikoa’s nefarious actions certainly garnered the attention of fans, who were concerned that he might assume Roman Reigns’ position. While some fans were pleased with the events on SmackDown, others were simply disinterested. They discussed the segment on social media after The Enforcer used his signature moves.
One fan perceived this as the ultimate disrespect to the true leader of The Bloodline and hoped to see him return and instill some respect in Solo through a beating. Another fan was simply fed up with seeing Kevin Owens battle the dominant faction once again and couldn’t take the new iteration of The Bloodline seriously. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:
One fan discussed how much hate Solo was going to receive if he uttered the words “Acknowledge Me” in front of the crowd. Other fans blamed Triple H for not knowing what to do with the new version of The Bloodline. Some users also observed that the audience showed little interest in Solo as the leader of the faction. Overall, the majority of fans didn’t like the fact that he was trying to become the new Tribal Chief.
