“Someone who actually cares” Kelly Oubre Jr blasts Phoenix Suns’ Owner
Kelly Oubre Jr played for Phoenix Suns from 2018

Kelly Oubre Jr is all set to play for the Golden State Warriors in the 2020-21 season. With Klay Thompson out, many expect Kelly Oubre Jr to acquire a bigger and vital role in the team. Oubre recently took shots at his previous teams’ owner. While Warriors have been a powerhouse in recent years, Phoenix Suns have not been able to get into the playoffs for 10 years. A host of Suns’ fans blame owner Robert Sarver for the same.

They have the talents to make it to the NBA Playoffs, to say the least. Devin Booker had an incredible run in the NBA Bubble, where he led the team to a perfect 8-0 record. Unfortunately, it was not enough to clinch a playoff berth in the stacked Western Conference. However, the Suns have 2 young stars in Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton to lead the time. While Chris Paul will provide the much-needed veteran leadership for the team. Hopefully they could break the playoff jinx this season.

Kelly Oubre Jr takes a dig at Robert Sarver

Oubre featured in the 95.7 The Game radio show, where he expressed his discontent with the Suns. “I can play for an owner – somebody who actually cares about the organization and not just the perception of the organization on the media end of it.

“It’s all about the foundation for me. If you have a beautiful foundation, you can build a beautiful future as Golden State has done.”

Oubre is expected to play the supporting role alongside Curry for the Dubs. But will he be able to help them reach deep into the playoffs is a matter of time to tell.
