Possible spoiler for the Universal Championship match at WWE Wrestlemania 37
Edge is likely to win the WWE Universal Championship
On Night Two of Wrestlemania 37, Roman Reigns will be defending his title in a Triple Threat match. He faces Daniel Bryan and 2021 Royal Rumble winner, Edge. As per a recent report, the Rated-R Superstar is the favorite to win the match.
Edge returned to WWE after 9 years at WWE Royal Rumble 2020. He kicked off a long feud with Randy Orton, but during that too he suffered a torn tricep, which kept him out of action for a major part of the year.
He returned again at 2021 Royal Rumble and outlasted 29 opponents to win the match. As per Bet Online, multiple title changes are expected to take place at Mania. Edge is most likely to become the new Universal Champion. It has been mentioned that barring Big E, all current Champions will be underdogs at Wrestlemania.
Edge might become a 12-time World Champion
Edge is currently an eleven-time WWE World Champion. But he has never held the Universal Championship. If the rumors are true and Edge does win at Wrestlemania 37, he will become the first Superstar to hold the WWE, World Heavyweight and the Universal Championship.
When Edge’s feud with Roman Reigns began, he was a babyface. But as Daniel Bryan got involved, and the match turned into a triple-threat match, Edge returned to his popular Heel form.
The Universal Championship match will be the main event for Night Two of Wrestlemania 37. WWE Wrestlemania 37 airs live on 10th and 11th April, 2021.
