Sreenidhi Deccan FC sign Samad Ali Mallick on a free transfer
According to the recent news from Indian football, the newcomers in the I League, Sreenidhi Deccan FC have signed Samad Ali Mallick on a Bosman transfer. The newcomers are signing the players right, left and center and prepare a better squad for the upcoming season. They have acquired the services of experienced as well as talented players to put up a great fight in the second-tier football competition in India.
The player has previously featured for the likes of SC East Bengal and RoundGlass Punjab. He will be a valuable addition to the newly-promoted side in the Indian second-tier football competition.
How has Samad Ali Mallick fared in the Indian football circuit?
Rising through the ranks of Rainbow AC, the player joined the then I-League outfit, East Bengal on a free transfer. Later, the player featured for the Kolkata-based outfit six seasons on the trot before joining RoundGlass Punjab in the 2020/21 season. He has experience in both the top-flight football, Indian Super League, as well as I League. In the I-League, Samad Ali Mallick has three assists to his name from 43 appearances. The player had featured in eight games for RoundGlass Punjab before the pandemic changed the dynamics of the competition.
Samad Ali Mallick is a versatile player who can thrive as a full-back on the right flank and he can also play as a wing-back for the team. Sreenidhi Deccan FC are a team in making and are looking to add potential players Samad who can offer multiple roles to the team. The club has already acquired the services of Ubaid CK, Shibil Mohammed and Lalromawia from the I League winners, Gokulam Kerala FC. Also, they have signed Shibin Raj and Dinesh Singh from Churchill Brothers SC and TRAU FC respectively.
