The 2024 WWE Draft continued on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. Stephanie McMahon kicked off last night’s edition and announced the picks for the first round. This was her first on-screen appearance in WWE after WrestleMania XL.

The 47-year-old first appeared at the Hall of Fame ceremony, sitting alongside her husband, Triple H. Two nights later, she was kicked off WrestleMania Night 2, hyping up the crowd action. After taking part in the draft picks on Raw, fans anticipate seeing her make many more appearances in the future as well.

The Billion Dollar Princess had been absent from WWE for quite a while. In July 2022, she became the chairwoman after her father, Vince McMahon ‘retired’ from the company. Months later, the promotion’s founder returned, while Steph resigned from her position. In January, she was named as one of the key individuals aware of the alleged misdeeds of her father.

As for the Draft, Imperium was the first pick from round 1, who remained on Raw with Giovanni Vinci separated from the group. Moreover, The Storm arrived on SmackDown, as Jade Cargill got drafted to the blue brand. However, this round’s surprising pick was Damage CTRL, as the faction went to Raw from SmackDown. Kevin Owens was the final pick from round one of the WWE Draft, and he remained on SmackDown.

Stephanie McMahon came out and announced Jade Cargill as the first pick for SmackDown on night 2 of the WWE Draft’s first round. As such, Big Jade responded to the announcement of her staying with the blue brand on social media.

The 31-year-old took to X and expressed her excitement after Steph chose her in the draft. After her magnificent performance at the Royal Rumble PLE, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis wasted no time and signed her to the blue brand. Since then, she has been involved in an intense rivalry with Damage CTRL, which culminated at WrestleMania XL.

Even though the notorious group went to Raw, some new challenges await Big Jade. Bianca Belair, with whom the 31-year-old shares a good connection, could turn out to be her biggest rival in the future. Moreover, Nia Jax also put the entire women’s division of SmackDown on notice when she attacked WWE Women’s Champion Bayley on last week’s episode.
