Golden State Warriors marquee player Stephen Curry brings utter ease to fans after Klay Thompson’s potential season-ending injury. The former reveals that he has fully recovered from his injury and is raring to go to bring the Warriors on top again. Some might suggest that Curry is not at his MVP level. Yet he has the potential to change the game in a matter of minutes courtesy to his 3-point shooting and offensive ability. 

Curry is often regarded as the greatest shooter of all-time. Recovering from a broken arm, Curry will not have his partner in crime Klay Thompson. But a host of young talent alongside veteran Draymond Green to help his resurrect Warriors in the 2020-21 season.

Curry spoke with Marc Spears of The Undefeated. When asked about his injury and recovery, Curry remarked that he feels good coming into the season.

“I’m feeling good. I think that one game I played in March felt like I had a good rehab and all that. And obviously, over this extended offseason, I’ve had time to focus on the things that needed attention. 

So when I get back out on the court, it should be just getting familiar with the new guys, understanding that we have a lot to accomplish and a lot to learn quickly with the condensed season.” 

The addition of Kelly Oubre and new draftee James Wiseman, the Warriors could see Curry take up a major leadership role. As far as the Warriors are concerned, they will be determined to show that their dynastic reign over the league is far from over. But they cannot over-exert Steph Curry, given his injury record. 

Having said that Curry also praised Los Angeles Lakers duo Anthony Davis and Lebron James. The Warriors are set to start off their pre-season against western conference runners-up Denver Nuggets on December 12.
