Curry is currently receiving immense praise through different social media platforms. Notably, the Davidson Wildcats have struggled, with a record of worse than .500 over the last three seasons. Their previous NCAA appearance was in 2022, and they were ousted in the first round.
The Wildcats’ best season was in 2007-08, headed by none other than Stephen Curry. The team went undefeated in the conference, finishing with a 20-0 record. They also advanced to the NCAA tournament’s Elite Eight, their finest finish in history.
As per Charania, Curry, who spent three years at Davidson (2006-09), will advise both the men’s and women’s squads based on his collegiate and professional experience. He will collaborate alongside general manager Austin Buntz, who formerly served on Under Armour’s global sports marketing team.

Curry has a great history with his alma matter. He established the NCAA single-season 3-point shooting record as a sophomore at Davidson. Also, Curry won the Conference Player of the Year award twice. Curry returned to Davidson in 2022 to finish his college education as a member of the Class of 2010.
