Stephen Curry STUNNED after questioned about Kamala Harris’ debate against Donald Trump
Steph Curry was caught off guard when asked about Kamala Harris’ debate against Donald Trump during Warriors’ media day.
Stephen Curry and Kamala Harris
The NBA world has been drawn into the US Presidential election with players, past and present, taking sides on their preferred candidates. For Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry, he has been a vocal supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris and he reiterated his support for her when he was questioned about it on media day.
During the press conference on Monday, a reporter asked his thoughts about the debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. And before he spoke about what he felt about her candidacy, he appeared shocked, as he wasn’t expecting the question as early as it did.

This isn’t the first time he has spoken publicly about his support for Harris’ candidacy, as he made headlines with his speech during the Democratic National Convention. His coach, Steve Kerr, also made the famous ‘night-night’ speech at the convention.
The new season will be Curry’s 16th and as a veteran already he will want to prove that he can still lead the Golden State Warriors towards the playoffs after missing out last season. The departure of fellow splash bro Klay Thompson doesn’t make the job any easier, but it would be foolish to count the Baby Faced Assassin out.
Stephen Curry on adjusting to Klay Thompson’s absence
Reality has finally dawned as, for the first time in over 13 good years, Stephen Curry will be playing without his strike partner, Klay Thompson. And he knows he has to move on and accept the reality as fast as possible and that involves finding a new partner to fill the enormous void left by Thompson.
When the Golden State Warriors added Buddy Hield during the offseason, he was viewed by fans of the Bay Area team as the natural replacement for Thompson. Curry during media day was asked about his fit with Hield, and given that Hield shares a similar offensive skill set to Thompson, especially in perimeter shooting, it’s normal to see the similarities.
"When you get smacked in the face and don't make the playoffs, that's all the reminder you need… we're the hunters amongst many other teams."

However, Chef Curry acknowledged that while Hield’s offensive game aligns well with the Warriors’ system, he wasn’t sure about his defensive output.
Thompson during his prime was regarded as one of the best two-way players and Hield will have a lot of work to prove that he can match up to the departed four-time champion.
