Stephen Curry‘s wife Ayesha Curry added another milestone to her legacy. Previously known as a successful chef and a bestselling cookbook author, she has expanded her business. Recently, Ayesha Curry added an Oprah trophy to her collection for her skincare line, Sweet July Skin.
Sweet July Skin is renowned for its cultural inclusivity. Ayesha Curry was widely appreciated for promoting her Jamaican roots with the brand. The founder and CEO of the lifestyle brand recently received the Oprah award for her product ‘Irie Power Face Oil‘. The face oil, one of the three products launched in the line, was voted the best face oil of 2024. Ayesha Curry posted the news on the official Instagram handle of the brand.
Surprisingly, the successful extension of the brand came out of the necessity of the founder. In an interview with CNN, Ayesha Curry revealed her tedious search for products that worked for her. Her lack of options met with the stories she had heard from her mother and grandmother about Jamaican skin remedies.
Speaking of a successful brand, not long back, Steph Curry tried one of the other products from the skincare line and gave it some stellar reviews. Ayesha Curry shared a clip of the Warriors guard trying out the ‘Pava Exfoliating Cleanser’ on her Instagram story. Although the video was a result of a partnership with Vogue, Steph Curry did not hold back on his thoughts.
Ayesha Curry talks skincare with daughter Riley
While Ayesha Curry has a prosperous beauty brand now, she wasn’t a skincare person at all. In an interview with PEOPLE, the Sweet July founder revealed being an amateur in making a routine for her skin. Although she believed she wasn’t using the right products, the Irish Wish star has previously opened up about her struggles with her skin.
Branching the topic to routines, Ayesha Curry expressed how her eldest daughter, Riley had a full skincare routine. She reflected that her dedication to the routine was ‘non-negotiable’. The 12-year-old navigated her skin and accumulated products that were best for her skin.
On the other bright side, Curry shared how she would have spa nights with her two daughters, including Ryan, that she shares with the NBA star. Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry share four children – Riley, Ryan, Canon, and Caius.
