Steve Austin made an unannounced appearance at this year’s WrestleMania in Las Vegas. He had teased doing so in a couple of interviews here and there. He was there on Sunday to announce the combined two-night attendance, which was 124,693. Apart from doing this, The Texas Rattlesnake received an offer from Logan Paul to do something completely out of character.

The Maverick claimed on his IMPAULSIVE podcast that Austin turned down the offer to dress up as a PRIME bottle for $1 million. The latter was recently a guest on The Ariel Helwani Show. The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed that it did happen. For Austin, it was personal business as he’s in the beer-selling business.

I just thought that was kind of personal business, but since it’s out there, yeah, I turned it down. It’s just, that’s not my gimmick… It wasn’t a great fit for Steve Austin.

Touting the success of his Broken Skull beer, the 60-year-old Texan disclosed that they’re already in 25 to 30 states in the US. When Helwani relayed to Austin that the fans were glad about the WWE icon’s decision to stay away from the PRIME stunt, Stone Cold laughed and said it just wasn’t a great fit for him. Elsewhere in the conversation, The Bionic Redneck was also asked about what went wrong with his ATV.

For the unversed, the 6-time World Champion crashed his four-wheeler into a barricade at ringside. Austin claimed that it had a different throttle system than what he’s used to and admitted that he was embarrassed about the mishap. WWE President Nick Khan came down to the spot to check on the affected fans. No injuries were reported, and everything was back to normal soon.

What does Steve Austin think of John Cena’s heel turn?

In an excerpt from the aforementioned interview, Steve Austin gave his thoughts on John Cena‘s ongoing heel turn. But before that, The Baddest S.O.B. on the Planet did admit being regretful about shaking hands with Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 17 to turn heel. The Texas Rattlesnake said he would’ve called an audible to stun McMahon on the spot if he could time travel to remain a babyface.

Moving on to if Cena would look back on his heel run and have the same regrets as Austin, the latter doesn’t think so. The former Ringmaster said he’s loving the ride Cena’s taking him on. Also, the Texas great believes that the Peacemaker star would rejoice having played a bad guy in the twilight of his in-ring career.

Austin further underscored that the 48-year-old actor is still pulling off WWE gigs because he loves the business even after finding success in different spheres of entertainment. The Franchise Player captured the world title for an unprecedented seventeenth time at WrestleMania 41. And guess what? Austin didn’t watch it live and exited early.

Steve Austin on who are the major key players for WWE going ahead

WrestleMania 41 saw a bunch of promising males and females leave an indelible mark on the fans with their performances. Since Steve Austin was right there almost until the end of the show on Sunday, he must’ve figured out the key players who’ll ensure that WWE is in the right direction.

When asked by Ariel Helwani about the superstars who Stone Cold believes have the it factor, Austin named Rhea Ripley, Bron Breakker, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley. The Texas Rattlesnake loved the women’s triple threat match that kicked off the proceedings on night two. Ripley, whom Austin sees as the future, went to war against IYO SKY and Bianca Belair.

In one of the most awe-inspiring opening matches in WrestleMania history, those women tore the house down. The Bionic Redneck couldn’t have been more appreciative of it. In a behind-the-scenes vlog of the event, Austin was seen hugging and congratulating SKY backstage after she retained the title.
