Ever since the 2011 NBA Draft, Klay Thompson devoted his career, playing for the Golden State Warriors. Winning 4 titles in 8 years and while entering 6 finals the Warriors fans had witnessed Thompson start as a rookie to be a champion.
After his 13-year-long career, Klay Thompson has now signed with the Dallas Mavericks and joined Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to add a 5th one to his shelf. But all that he had with the Bay Area and the franchise cannot be forgotten. During an interview at the USA Basketball camp, coach Steve Kerr mentioned how ex-Splash brother might have a statue of himself outside the Arena someday.

Thompson has been outright about his devotion to the Warriors for 13 long years creating invaluable bonds with everyone related to the franchise.
One such emotional narrative of coach Steve Kerr came out in the USA basketball camp where he mentioned that they were planning to reform and to move together forward with Thompson, but it eventually didn’t go as planned. With the former Bay Area superstar moving to Dallas Mavericks, Kerr believes that this shift in his career was essential for him.
