Sweden vs France UEFA Nations League

France defeated Sweden 1-0 in their opening match of the UEFA Nations League. Kylian Mbappe scored the only goal in the first half.
First Half
Didier Deschamps had a 3 CB pairing at the back. Upamenco started alongside Varane and Kimpembe. He was however booked in the 2nd minute if the match itself.
France had most of the possession in the starting minutes. However it was Sweden who made the first big chance. Bengstonn lashed out with a first time shot from 30 yards out. The ball unfortunately went slightly outside.
Lloris made himself big to block a close range shot from Berg. France took the lead courtesy of a cool finish from Mbappe at the near post. Sweden had their chances but didn’t take them.

Second half
France started the 2nd half on a dominant note. Hardly let Sweden any chances. Mbappe had a minor injury issue but the medics took care of it.
Ferland Mendy came on for Lucas Digne and Martial for Mbappe. Lloris made a fine save from a fierce shot of Forsberg at the edge of the area.
Berg dribbled past the France players but was unable to finish and Guidetti sent the ball over the bar. Sweden have missed a host of chances. France got a penalty in added but Griezmann fluffed his lines to end the match. France 1-0 Sweden.
