The greatest Olympian and GOAT of the swimming world, Michael Phelps has time and again shared how important his family and his children are to him. In a recent Instagram post, Phelps showed off his igloo-building skills where he later cuddled in with his family.
Phelps along with his wife Nicole Johnson donned full winter gear and snuggled with his sons. He is the father of three children namely, Boomer Robert, Maverick Nicolas, and Beckett Richard. After retiring from the world of swimming, he mostly spends his time with his family, looking after his children growing up.
Fans expressed their love for the family as one commented, “Mp is a great father ?” Though his post received love from his fans, there were many negative comments swirling around. While there were also fans intrigued by the sight of snow in Arizona.

Last year too, Michael Phelps shared a post commenting on how intrigued he was to read the book “Basketball Dreams”, written by NBA star Chris Paul. He stated that he is excited to read it to his family and his kids, captioning, “Thx @cp3!! Can’t wait to read to the kids!!”.
Phelps has shared many precious moments with Nicole and their adorable kids, one of them being the last Rio Olympic run in 2016. He won his gold medal and trodded back to the benches kissing and hugging his then-3-month-old son Boomer.
He stated how precious that moment was for him to have his son watch him win the gold medal in his last race. He also stated that he may swim in competitive races if his children ask him to. After Phelps‘ remarkable race in 2016, he posted on Instagram captioning, “got to see my amazing family in the stands…
“…@boomerrphelps was sound Asleep…. Haha!! Love you guys so much and thank you for all of your support!!!” The decorated swimmer was all smiles while choking up a few times during his post-game interview. It was nevertheless, an emotional moment for him, one that he’ll never forget.
Phelps has ever since posted several family photos, showcasing his children’s cuteness while leading a lavish life of happiness after his retirement. When asked whether his kids will also dive into the world of swimming, he stated that they are free to choose on their own. If mention is to be made, he would love to see one of his sons on the billboards as one of the golf greatest.
