Legendary swimmer Michael Phelps is the most decorated and the most successful Olympians of all time. He is a 23 time Olympic gold medallist, holding 28 Olympic medals in total and is considered one of the greatest swimmers ever. His limits and capabilities are some that no swimmer has been able to reach in quite a long time.
Phelps has also set the most records ever at an astonishing 39. After his retirement, Phelps has also been a big advocate of mental health for high performance athletes, and every one else too. While opening up about his own struggles with depression and competitive sports, Phelps has opened up a platform for many individuals to share their stories.
How much will Michael Phelps be able to test his limits?
A recent interaction with Young Thug was quite an interesting one for the swimmer. Thug said that he was talking to his roommate, and whether it was possible to swim 100 miles from the middle of the ocean back to shore. An interesting question, and one that would require a lot of thought and strength.
Phelps on the other hand though about the situation a lot, and turns out the legendary swimmer can possibly do it. Phelps said in a reply to the tweet, “Yeah. I think I could make it.” The topic went on even more, as him and his coach sat together and calculated how much time it would take. It would take nearly 50 hours, and it certainly wouldn’t be a pleasant situation.
