Kerala are on a roll in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy having won two matches out of two. They defeated Puducherry in their first match after restricting them to just 138 runs before acing the chase in 18.2 overs. Jalaj Saxena was the Man of the Match for ending up with figures of 3-13.

In the second match, Kerala defeated Mumbai thanks to a stunning 51-ball 137 by opener Mohammed Azharuddeen. Despite Mumbai ending up with a huge score of 196 in the first innings, the target was achieved in less than 16 overs with the Azharuddeen coming out all guns blazing and batting like a man possessed. Kerala are now in good stead in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and will look to go all the way.

Sanju Samson predicts he would hit a six and delivers

In the 11th over of Kerala’s chase in their first match against Puducherry, skipper Sanju Samson can be heard talking to his partner Sachin Baby about not having a liking to the bowler Sagar Udeshi. He then says, “I will give him one.” before launching the ball for a huge six as promised.

The moment has gone viral on social media with fans praising Samson for his ‘thug life’ moment and for delivering what he promised.
