A former WWE star made his return to WWE after eight long years. In an unrecognizable look, Sylvester Lefort made his return to WWE programming with a hot storyline. This week on SmackDown, Lefort came back to take a heavy bump from Legend Killer Randy Orton, which raised many eyebrows.

During the brawl between Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and The Bloodline, WWE needed some security guards to handle the ruckus. Fans noticed that one of them was the former WWE Superstar, Sylvester Lefort. He came in to save the day. However, the Viper had other plans; he delivered a wicked atomic drop to Lefort, being a security.

The 40-year-old had a brief stint with WWE from 2012 to 2016. Initially, he started as a manager for Dax Harwood. Later on, he also aligned himself with Rusev (now Miro). In his time, he had a few notable feuds in NXT and later on the main roster. However, in 2016, WWE came to terms with Lefort and released him from his contract.

It is unclear if WWE purposely showed the former Superstar on the programming or if it was just a coincidence. If WWE is making a move to bring him back, the new era in WWE can be a perfect time. Back in the day, Lefort didn’t have any proper gimmicks or directions on the main roster. However, under the regime of Triple H, his addition to the roster can be an impactful turn of events.

Sylvester Lefort came in to save the day. He tried his best effort, but it all went in vain against Randy Orton. It was quite a sight to see so many security guards trying to sideline these behemoth superstars. What started as a confrontation shortly turned into a brawl between R-KO and The Bloodline.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens tried to get the better of Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga before their showdown at Backlash. It was a chaotic situation, which certainly led to WWE officials sending guards to handle the situation. Also, it saw tensions between the two teams before their match this Saturday.

Furthermore, it has certainly solidified that Sikoa and Tonga are unstoppable. However, Orton and Owens fear nothing when it comes to taking down the faction. With the personal feelings involved in the match, fans wonder what the outcome of this mega match in France will be.
