India found itself in all sorts of trouble by the end of the powerplay as they were three wickets down against their arch-rivals Pakistan. It was then that the duo of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant stepped in to save the day. The pair stitched a crucial 51 run stand to stable the ship.

It was only for Rishabh Pant’s stunning 39 runs off 30 balls that the Men in Blue managed a fighting total following a top-order collapse. Kohli played a stunning innings of 57 to help India to 151, a sizeable total in Dubai. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya chipped in with small scores to support the skipper in the middle.

Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali was handed the ball in the 12th over and Rishabh Pant saw it as a golden opportunity to cut loose. Pant smashed Ali for back to back sixes and in some style. The southpaw hammered the pacer for two one hand sixes, one over mid-wicket and the other over long-off to give Indian fans something to cheer about.

As India managed to pull off a great comeback, Pakistan had Hasan Ali to blame for it as he leaked 11 runs in his quota of four overs. His spell was the difference as all other Pakistani bowlers didn’t even breach the 8 run mark in their economy column. Their batters now have a tough ask at hand as they look to break their losing streak against India.
