Iga Swiatek is the biggest name currently on the WTA Tour because of her unmatched dominance. She was born on 31 May 2001 in Warsaw to Dorota and Tomasz Swiatek and turned Pro in 2016. She reached the top of the rankings in April 2022 and held it throughout the rest of the season as she won two Grand Slam singles titles during the same.
How many Grand Slam tournaments has Iga Swiatek won?
Iga Swiatek has so far won five Grand Slam titles. Her first title came at the 2020 French Open. During her highly successful 2022 season, she once again won the title at Roland Garros before winning her first US Open. She clinched a hattrick of the French Open title in 2022, 2023 and 2024, becoming the first player since Monica Seles and Justine Henin to complete a hat-trick of titles at Roland Garros.
