AJ Styles has always been considered one of the most accomplished superstars of all time. His debut in WWE was as an entrant in the 2016 Royal Rumble. He won multiple titles in his entire career, including the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Professional wrestling career

Ring of Honor (2002-2006)

AJ Styles debuted in ROH at A Night of Appreciation in 2002. Soon after his debut, he became a top-tier wrestler, attracting an audience to the show. He soon won the ROH Tag Team Championship with Amazing Red. He feuded with Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Matt Stryker to become the first ROH Pure Wrestling Champion.

TNA Wrestling (2002-2014)

Styles debuted in TNA wrestling in May 2002. The Phenomenal One was considered the protege of Sting in the later years of TNA. Styles won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a five-way match against Matt Morgan, Hernandez, Kurt Angle, and Sting.

WWE (2016-present)

Styles debuted as the second entrant at the 2016 Royal Rumble in WWE. He later had multiple feuds with Chris Jericho, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns. AJ Styles is The Undertaker’s last opponent in a WWE ring. They had a special Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36, which was Taker’s retirement match.
