Carla Esparza is one of the most decorated active female MMA fighters out there. She was the first ever UFC strawweight champion, she was also the strawweight champion at Invicta FC and also managed to hold the UFC strawweight championship twice. The American at the age of 35 is still considered one of the most skillful fighters on the UFC roster.
Esparza is a veteran and has been fighting for more than a decade at the highest level. Currently, ranked #6 in the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings, the fighter has no plans to retire anytime soon.
