“I want to be close to you,” 27-year-old WWE star responds to The Rock’s daughter Ava Raine after getting called out for stalking her

Tatum Paxley has become one of NXT’s hottest stars, thanks to her creepy gimmick. Since adopting this persona, the female superstar has become notorious for stalking her fellow co-workers. Her latest victim seems to be none other than The Rock’s daughter herself, Ava Raine.

Tatum Paxley recently sent a creepy message to her victim. She claimed that she wanted to be close to Raine. The 27-year-old had clicked a photo of the NXT GM without her knowing. Further, she posted the photo publicly on her X account for the world to see. Ava Raine responded to the photo and asked the creepy wrestler what was wrong with her. This question prompted Paxley’s most recent response.

The stalker’s victim since her return to NXT came in the form of then-NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. She spent several weeks stalking the Irish wrestler and even promised her help in retaining her championship. The former NXT Women’s Champion eventually stopped resisting and even teamed with her stalker.

After Roxanne Perez eventually beat the champion, Paxley turned on her as well. This feud evolved into a triple-threat match between these wrestlers for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Spring Breakin.’ After a hard-hitting match, the champion retained her title.

Ava Raine talks about Carmelo Hayes and Kiana James being drafted away from NXT

The latest edition of the WWE Draft saw several NXT superstars called up to the main roster. Ava Raine recently gave an interview with Cathy Kelly at the WWE Performance Center. She had several thoughts of her own that she wanted to share about superstars from her brand being drafted away. 

Talking specifically about Kiana James and Carmelo Hayes, the NXT GM claimed that these two were the best that NXT had to offer. She said that she would miss them, just like many superstars at NXT. However, both Raw and SmackDown were in for a treat with these young talents. She asserted that both Hayes and James would shine on the main roster.

NXT has clearly lost a lot of talent in the latest WWE Draft. Several main event players from both the men’s and women’s decisions have created a hole in the talent pool of the developmental brand. While this does give room for mid-card players to rise to the occasion, WWE must manage this situation well.
