The blonde tennis club has a new member on the ATP tour, and that is Taylor Fritz. The US Open finalist revealed his new look on social media, which was picked up by multiple verified accounts.
Fritz’s new look has been the center of attention for many tennis enthusiasts over the past 24 hours. Multiple players, including Ben Shelton, were seen cracking jokes about it on his X account.
The blonde look has been a popular trend not only among tennis players but in sports in general. The first notable tennis player to make this transition was Roger Federer. The Swiss Maestro had a blonde look before switching to a ponytail and eventually to the classic hairstyle he kept for most of his career after 2005.
On the ATP tour, the blonde look still draws attention. Several players, such as Casper Ruud and Thanasi Kokkinakis, have tried it as well.
Taylor Fritz set to return to Delray Beach Open
Top American tennis player Taylor Fritz, fresh off his first Grand Slam final appearance at the US Open in September, is set to return to Delray Beach in February. The 26-year-old Miami resident has won the last two Delray Beach Open titles and aims to be the first player to win three consecutive titles at the ATP event on Atlantic Avenue.

Tommy Paul, a Boca Raton resident, will also return to Delray Beach after reaching the finals there last February. The American No.2 recently won an ATP title in Stockholm, Sweden, marking his third title of the year. In last year’s Delray final, Paul lost to Fritz after a rain delay.
In February, Fritz became just the second player to win back-to-back titles in the 32-year history of the Delray Beach Open. He had a strong season overall, reaching the U.S. Open final, where he lost to Jannik Sinner. Fritz became the first American man to reach a U.S. Open final since Andy Roddick in 2006.
Both Fritz and Paul are expected to qualify for the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy. The duo also teamed up to win the doubles bronze medal at the Paris Olympics in August.
