Livvy Dunne had been missing in action from the modelling stage for quite some time, and her fans had been waiting. The LSU gymnast recently made a sizzling return with Sports Illustrated, leaving everybody satisfied. One of them was journalist and friend Taylor Rooks.
Livvy Dunne and Taylor Rooks have always been each other’s admirers from their screens. The dedicated journalist did not forget to hype the social media sensation on her latest modelling shoot. The 22-year-old athlete recently announced her feature in Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit magazine.
The clip shared by her and the magazine’s IG handle showcased bits and pieces of the shoot. Beside a backdrop of the island of Bermuda, Dunne turned up the heat in an animal print bikini. Rooks did not waste a second before commenting on the jaw-dropping video. “That girl!!!!” wrote broadcaster Taylor Rooks.
Livvy Dunne also expressed her enthusiasm for the cover set to fill magazine stands in May. She returned to the covers of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for the third time, much to the fans’ delight. The reveal came after the US athlete caused a bit of a conundrum among the fans. Previously, she teased her followers about flunking school to go to a ‘secret location’ for a ‘secret project’.

Apart from engaging with her 5 million plus followers solely on Instagram, she is living the final days of her last year as an LSU Tiger. Her team is currently aiming to bring home another NCAA Championship after success in the SECs.
However, Livvy Dunne, who got LSU their previous championship, was a presence in the stands due to a knee injury, ruling her out. With the Tigers preparing for the NCAA Regionals on April 2nd, it remains to be seen if the senior gymnast opts to take the bar.
Livvy Dunne talks overwhelming media attention and body image issues
Livvy Dunne is currently one of the highest-paid NIL athletes, although it wasn’t always like that. After the policy change in 2020, the student-athletes were invited to a plethora of opportunities. That was when the LSU gymnast started gaining the huge number of followers she has today. With changes, there were also challenges stemming from unaccustomed practices. In the Amazon Prime Video series The Money Game, Dunne shed some light on those difficulties.
Opening up on the personal front, Dunne confessed to being subdued under the number of people looking at her. With the people looking up to her, she adjusted to being the flawless person they expected. At some point, living up to the superficial notions fragmented her identity, inviting body image issues for the athlete.

Livvy Dunne admitted to chasing the perfect something which came in the way of her career. Being a model and an athlete, it was difficult for her. She further shared how it confused her about training her body for either of the two.
The 2024 NCAA champion had a hard time adjusting and adapting before LSU gymnastics coach Jay Clark helped her out. From there on, she went on a transitional journey to being comfortable with herself, also crediting Sports Illustrated for contributing in her quest.
