In a shocking revelation, it has been announced that Team IND BGMI roster has been disbanded. The team was one of the most successful BGMI team as of now but unfortunately the organisation has decided to release their players.

Krafton had recently announced that they are going to start the in game qualifiers of BGMI India Series 2021 from 4th December as the registrations are going to end on 28th November. As BGIS 2021 is a major tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India, teams have been grinding daily at the invitational scrims. However, the recent announcement from Team IND has left the fans flabbergasted.

Owned by Team Insidious, Team IND is one of the most famous Indian eSports organisation that had rosters in PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile as well Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). As they have released all of their players from their BGMI and COD Mobile roster, the organisation remains inactive as of now. They made announcement of the disbandment of their BGMI roster through their official social media handles

"From being part of the seed of this organisation to most of the achievements all of these guys are very integral part of TeamIND, it’s very difficult goodbye for us. But for better future because life is cycle filled with change. We wish all the best to our boys for their adventures in future."

From their official statement, they have not revealed the reason as to why they chose to release the roster when the team was performing exceptionally well in different tournaments, also winning the first tournament held by Krafton, BGMI Launch Party. Team IND BGMI roster consisted of the following players:

  • Slayer (Kanishk Shah)
  • Trance (Kaustubh Walia)
  • Attanki (Randeep Singh Bhullar)

Team IND had won several tournaments in PUBG Mobile such as Skyesports Grand Slam: PUBGM Invitational, Fnatic Lockdown Invitational 2020 and others, the team shifted to BGMI by retaining most of their PUBGM players. It had also collaborated with PV Esports few months ago to form ‘PV x IND’, however, the partnership ended within a month.

Team IND has also disbanded its COD Mobile roster few days ago who became the regional champions of COD Mobile World Championship 2021 (South Asia & Middle East Asia). The roster was acquired by GodLike Esports, however, it is unclear which organisation will bag Team IND BGMI roster as countable days are left for the commencement of BGMI India Series 2021.
