LeBron and Savannah James

LeBron James is set to participate in the 2024 Olympics for Team USA, and it’s all thanks to his wife Savannah James. According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, LBJ only decided to join the team after getting clearance from Savannah. This shows how important his family is to him, and how much he values their time together.

Savannah’s support for James’ career is nothing new. She has been his rock throughout his 21-year NBA career and has always been supportive of his decisions as well as encouraged him to keep playing.

Fans are ecstatic to see King James team up with Steph Curry and other NBA rivals now turned teammates, as they aspire to bring home the gold. The four-time NBA champion last played for Team USA at the 2012 Olympics, where they won the gold medal and is expected to win his third gold medal in France.

LeBron James uncertain about future NBA deals, current contract may be his last

LeBron James has expressed uncertainty about signing another NBA deal after his current contract expires. In an interview with ESPN, James revealed that his current two-year deal worth $101.4 million may be his last.

I mean, it could be (the last contract I will ever sign). I'd never sit up here and say, 'Oh, maybe not.' Yeah, it could be. Easily. But we'll see what happens.

James, who has already achieved numerous records and accolades throughout his legendary career, is set to surpass Vince Carter for the most seasons played in an NBA career if he completes his current deal.

James’ impressive career has seen him win championships with three separate organizations, earn four MVPs, and become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. He also recently set a new NBA record with his 20th All-Star appearance.

He will, however, be fulfilling a dream next season by sharing the court with his son, Bronny James, who was drafted by the Lakers with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Despite his achievements, James’ long-term future in the NBA is uncertain, and he may be considering retirement or a departure from the league.
