British tennis star and 2-time Champion Andy Murray will make a return to the All England Club for the first time since his recovery from a career threatening knee injury. Murray last played on the green lawns of London in 2017 and has now received a wild card for the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.

Murray reached the quarterfinal the last time he played at Wimbledon in 2017 and would want to repeat the same performance this time too. The Brit is on his way to stage a comeback due after suffering numerous injuries for the last 4 years. He is competing at the Queen’s Club currently as a build-up for Wimbledon.

Murray has slipped to No.124 in the ATP Rankings and hence would have to battle through the qualifiers if he wouldn’t have received a wild card. Five out of Eight wildcards have been announced by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Wednesday.
