‘Ask and he delivers’- Twitter goes crazy seeing Nick Kyrgios delivers a fan’s demand for an underarm serve against Fabio Fognini at the Miami Open

Nick Kyrgios

One thing is for sure that with Nick Kyrgios in action there is hardly a dull moment. The Australian is always looking to pull off something exceptional from his bag full of tricks. He recently came up with an underarm serve against Fabio Fognini at the Miami Open after a fan asked for it from the stands.

Kyrgios won the match against Fognini comprehensively 6-2, 6-4 as he looked like in supreme touch. The Australian made light work of the veteran Italian who is currently ranked 34th in the world. Fognini never really looked comfortable with his movement and Kyrgios took full advantage of his opponent’s condition forcing him to cover the court more and more with every point.

Kyrgios wrapped up the first set in 28 minutes as he came up with a double break. However, there was some kind of a return from the Italian in the second half as he got better but was never really good enough to trouble the confident Nick Kyrgios.

Kyrgios was serving at 2-3 in the second set when a fan yelled at him asking for an underarm serve. Right after the request, the Australian wasted no time in delivering to the fan’s demand. Although the underarm serves resulted in a fault, Fognini and Kyrgios smirked at each other as they saw the funny side of it. Fognini even told Kyrgios to try it again.
