The ATP Adelaide International 2 2022 will be one of the last two tournaments in the build-up to the 2022 Australian Open that will begin from 17th January. It will be the third edition of the tournament on the ATP Tour and the second edition in the year 2022 after the previous edition was scheduled in the first week of the season.

Men’s Singles Draw Analysis and Prediction
Top Half
Defending champion Gael Monfils gets a bye in the first round and will play one of the two qualifiers in the second round. Jan Lennard Struff starts against one of the qualifiers and will be the favourite to take on the winner between the match of Botic Van de Zandschulp and 8th seeded Marton Fucsovics.
3rd seeded Karen Khachanov gets another shot at the title after losing to Monfils in the finals and starts directly in round 2. He will take on the winner between Gianluca Mager and Laslo Djere while 5th seeded Lloyd Harris who begins against Soonwoo Kwon will be the favourite to take on the winner from the match between Arthur Rinderknech and Mackenzie McDonald.

2nd seeded John Isner gets a first-round bye and will start against the winner from the clash between Benoit Paire and Thanasi Kokkinakis. Wildcard entrant Alex Bolt starts against a qualifier and is likely to take on the winner between 6th seeded Alexander Bublik and wildcard entrant Aleksandar Vukic.
4th seeded Marin Cilic will start directly in round 2 after a first-round bye and will take on the winner between John Millman and Jaume Munar. 7th seeded Frances Tiafoe will take on Tommy Paul in round 1 and their winner will take on the winner between Benjamin Bonzi and Lorenzo Musetti.

Semi-Finals
Monfils and Khachanov played out the finals between them in Adelaide 1 and could potentially meet again in the semi-finals this time. While Monfils will look to defend his title, Khachanov will have revenge on his mind and will be looking to get the better of the Frenchman after their finals.
Tour veterans Cilic and Isner could clash potentially for the 13th time and it could be their 3rd semi-final meeting so far. While Cilic went out to Khachanov in Adelaide 1, Isner returns to Tour after his stint at the 2022 ATP Cup where the Americans lost in the group stage.
Final Prediction: Karen Khachanov vs Marin Cilic
ATP Adelaide International 2 2022 Finals:
In what could be their potentially 4th career meeting, Cilic and Khachanov could meet in the finals. While Cilic will look to avenge his semi-final defeat from the earlier week, Khachanov might just nick the title in what could be a tight match between the two.
