Hurkacz is a professional tennis player from Poland who is ranked 11th in the world. After a steady climb in 2021, the Polish had a modest downturn in 2022. Alexander Bublik is a Russian-Kazakhstani professional tennis player. He began the 2022 season with a loss against Aleksandar Vukic in the first round of the Adelaide International. He won his first match of the season at the Australian Open but was defeated in the second round by Gael Monfils. Bublik has bounced back dramatically well after an underwhelming campaign in Australia. After defeating former World No. 1 Alexander Zverev in the finals, he won the Open Sud de France.
