Men’s Singles Draw Analysis and Prediction
Top Half

Top-seeded Cameron Norrie will begin his campaign in the 2nd round as he receives a bye in the first round. He can expect Elias Ymer as his 2nd round opponent as Ymer will be starting against qualifier Matthew Ebden. Norrie can expect either Denis Kudla or 8th seeded Mackenzie McDonald as his opponent in the 3rd round.
3rd seeded Taylor Fritz also gets a bye in the 1st round and can expect Peter Gojowczyk in the 2nd round, a rather easy start for the American. In the 3rd round, he is most likely to meet compatriot Steve Johnson who will open against local lad and the only Mexican in the draw, Gerardo Lopez, who gets a wildcard.
First Semi-Final Prediction: Cameron Norrie vs Taylor Fritz
Bottom Half

5th seeded Jordan Thompson will begin against the inaugural champion of the tournament, Croatian veteran Ivo Karlovic. If he’s able to go past the Croatian’s big serve against Austrian Jurji Rodionov. 4th seeded Sam Querrey receives a bye in the first round and can expect JJ Wolf in 2nd round.
2nd seeded John Isner also gets a bye in the 1st round and is expected to play Evgeny Donskoy in the 2nd round. In the 3rd round, he can expect the winner of Alex Bolt and 7th seeded Andreas Seppi as the duo are set to clash in the 1st round and the winner looks favourite for the 2nd round clash as well.
Second Semi-Final Prediction: John Isner vs Sam Querrey
Semi-Finals

The clash between Taylor Fritz and Cameron Norrie will be an exciting affair as both the youngsters have an identical record on the Hardcourts. They both are 9-5 for the season on the surface and are coming into the tournament with good form. However, Cameron Norrie seems the favourite for the tie given his better season record and also the injury scare for Fritz who had surgery 3 weeks prior to Wimbledon 2021.
American greats John Isner and Sam Querrey can expect their 10th clash in the semi-finals of the tournament. Both of them are great servers and have plenty of experience playing on the tour and especially on the hardcourts. But looking at their recent runs and what has been their season so far, it seems that Isner will be the one moving into the finals.
Los Cabos Finals Prediction: Cameron Norrie vs John Isner
Final

Isner and Norrie can expect their 1st hardcourt meeting when they take on each other in the finals of the tournament. The duo has earlier met twice and shared the spoils with 1 victory each. While it seems that hardcourt will favour Isner who will look to hold his giant serve and capitalise on the breakpoints, Norrie’s better form this season and better movement could turn the match towards the Brit.
