Yuki Bhambri returned to tour in 2021 after a hiatus of two and half years due to injuries. On his return he won a title in ITF doubles with compatriot Saketh Myneni. He played only 4 matches in singles, of which only two were in the main draw. The Indian then lost in the qualifying rounds of the Australian Open 2022 and couldn’t make it to the first round.
Stefano Travaglia had a decent 2021 season, in which he won a ATP Challenger tournament in Sibiu, Romania and achieved his career-best ranking of No.60 in February last year. The Italian started his 2022 season with consecutive opening round defeats at the ATP Melbourne Summer Set 1, Sydney International and the Australian Open.
