The Australian Open is all set to go underway from 14th January in Melbourne Park. With this being the first Grand Slam of the season, it has caught the attention of spectators around the world.

Two other ATP tournaments, the Brisbane International and the Adelaide International, have already preceded the mega event in this Australian tennis season. The tournament will continue up to 28th January.

Prominent players across the world, such as Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and Daniil Medvedev, are going to take part in the competition.

The prize pool for the tournament is at an all-time high after a 13 percent increase in the prize money from 2023.

Currently, it stands at around AU $86.5 million, whereas the winners will be taking home around AU $3.15 million.

Though, they will face some stern competition and resilience in the Round of 16 stage, especially Nole who faces Andy Murray, all four are expected to qualify for the next round of the tournament.

In the first match, Djokovic has high chances tp emerge victorious. Shelton has been in good form ever since his debut but the Serb in hard courts, there can’t be a better combination. Tsitsipas will emerge victorious in the second match, keeping in mind that the American is coming just after an injury.

In the third one, Medvedev will be advancing to the quarters of the tournament as the Russian has a superb record in Melbourne Park and has reached the final twice in the last three years.
