Women’s Singles Draw Analysis and Prediction
Top Half
The top half of the draw will be headlined by Daria Kasatkina. The Russian will take on Kaja Juvan in the opening round and has been drawn alongside Pole sixth seed Magda Linette who takes on a qualifier in the opening round. Kasatkina is expected to face American Catherine McNally in the second round while Linette might face Storm Sanders in the second round.
Ekaterina Alexandrova, the third seed, will face Irina Begu in the first round and will face either Maria Mateas or Polona Hercog in the second round. Meanwhile, 5th seed Nadia Podoroska will face Bernarda Pera in the opener and is expected to face either Christina McHale or Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the second round. Alexandrova and Podoroska will take on each other in the quarterfinals.

Bottom Half
Second seed Anett Kontaveit will headline the bottom half of the draw and has been handed a very tricky draw. She will open against Lauren Davis and is expected to face either Caroline Garcia or a qualifier in the Round of 16. Shelby Rogers will take on in form Katerina Siniakova in the first round with the winner facing either Anna Blinkova or Cincinnati finalist Jil Teichmann in the Round of 16. The winner of the bracket will face Kontaveit in the quarterfinals.
Seveth seed Sara Sorribes Tormo will be up against a qualifier in the opening round and is expected to face Vera Zvonareva in the second round. Doubles specialist, Bethanie Mattek-Sands will take on Ludmilla Samsonova in the opening round while Shuai Zhang takes on Martina Trevisan.
Second Semifinal Prediction: Sara Sorribes Tormo vs Katerina Siniakova
Semifinals
The first semifinal will be played between Daria Kasatkina and Nadia Podoroska. Both the players have done well on the WTA tour at some point of time. Kasatkina has an incredible baseline game while Podoroska has an expectional defensive game. The match will have a lot of big rallies with Kasatkina coming out the victor.
Spanish star Sara Sorribes Tormo will be up against Katerina Siniakova of Czech Republic in the second semifinal. Tormo will back her defensive game while Siniakova would want to come to the net often. The match could go down the distance with Siniakova storming into the final.
Finals
The final of the Cleveland Championships will be played between two amazing baseline players, Daria Kasatkina and Katerina Siniakova. While both players are amazing from the baseline, Siniakova will have an edge on the net. Expect a tight battle with Siniakova winning the championships.
