Tough Road Ahead For Medevedev

Daniil Medvedev

Daniil Medvedev is seeded 2nd in the US Open and has a tough road ahead of himself. He will play former world number 7, Richard Gasquet in the first round. In the second round, the Russian is most likely to clash with Dominik Koepfer.

If Medvedev manages to cross the hurdles, then he is most likely to play against either of world number 8, Casper Ruud or the big server and local hope, John Isner or Argentine, Diego Schwartzman. The potential semi final fixture for Medvedev would be against world number 3, Stefanos Tsitsipas or countryman, Andrey Rublev.
