Argentine professional tennis player, Diego Schwartzman has four ATP singles titles to his name. His highest ranking according to the Association of Tennis Professionals was World No.8 and his current ATP ranking is World No.13.
“It’s not just for the big guys here,” Diego said when he was the shortest Grand Slam quarterfinalist in the 2017 US Open. He is a baseline player, with solid groundstrokes on both wings. He is known for the clean hitting off both his forehand and backhand, and is capable of taking the ball on the rise and hitting them with depth and pace. Because of his speed and baseline playing, he has been very successful on the clay court rather than the hard court or grass court.

Recently in an interview with Filo News, Schwartzman talked about the Big 3 of tennis and how he has faced each of them. Later he also said that he finds Rafa more imposing than the other two, beating him on the clay court is almost impossible.
“On clay, it is almost impossible to follow the rhythm and dominance that he (Nadal) has. Rafa is the one who imposes the most respect on you when entering the field, It is like you enter more defeated,” said Diego.
He also said how Federer is more relaxed any because of this sometimes it is possible that he would give you the game. “Federer being so relaxed, sometimes he gives you a game,” he said.
“You enter the Nadal match, and it seems that everything from the first point to the last point, is the last in his career. It imposes so much respect on you,” he shared. “It is very difficult to sustain what he does from minute zero,” he concluded.
