The ATP Cup was the talk of the town till Novak Djokovic‘s participation was not confirmed and the focus shifts to the player once again as he is allowed to play the upcoming 2022 Australian Open without being vaccinated as he has been a handed exemption from the medical committee formed by the State of Australia.

While the decision to allow the Serbian has certainly got the ‘NoleFam’ excited as now it presents him the opportunity to win his 21st Grand Slam title, 10th Australian Open title and continue his 21-match unbeaten streak at the Melbourne Park. But others have not been in agreement to allow an unvaccinated person as the local citizens of Australia have been in strict lockdown due to the Pandemic.

“We [tennis players] are here to play, and Novak Djokovic has already talked to the tournament and the government. Everyone is talking about it, so players have to be on the side. The press is going to be in the locker room for sure in the next few weeks, but I think we don’t have to say anything. We already spoke in the locker room. I don’t want to say what I think,” said Schwartzman during his press conference at the ATP Cup.
