Djere has a lot more experience on the ATP Tour having turned pro five years before Gaston. Both the players have had a tough run in the tournament with both playing a 3 set match in the round of 16 and the quarterfinals. Gaston has had a much harder time on court facing two top 5 seeded players. The long three-setters must have taken a physical toll on him, but he has been in great form throughout this tournament. Reaching his first ATP Tour semifinal, beating 2 top seeded players and saving four match points in the quarterfinal will make him more motivated and eager to go one step forward and reach the finals.

Prediction: Gaston to win in 3 sets.
