Emma Raducanu has emerged as the new superstar in the world of tennis. The 18-year-old entered into the US Open 2021 after thrashing her opponents in the qualifying stage. Post that, the Brit stretched her winning run in the main round as well and ended up lifting the coveted trophy.
Soon after the title win, Emma became the talk of the town and is now regarded as one of the favorites of innumerable brands who want to collaborate with her. The young gun has a lively personality which adds to her charm. Recently, in an interview, Raducanu shared with the world the names of her three dream guests she would want to have dinner with.
‘I’d like to hear some of Jordan’s stories’: Emma Raducanu
In an interaction with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), Emma revealed the names of three celebrities she would like to have dinner with. Emma named F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo as the first celeb and went on to claim that she thinks Ricciardo is a very funny guy.
Post that, she mentioned basketball legend Michael’s name. “Michael Jordan, just so much insight,” she said. She went on to add, “yeah I’d like to hear some stories of his (Jordan) and how it was going because I watched ‘The Last Dance’ and I think everyone did and I was so inspired after that.”
The third and final name Emma mentioned was of radio host Tom Keene. Raducanu has been truly exceptional this season and she thoroughly deserves all the accolades which are coming her way. The champion player who came into the final Grand Slam of 2021 as World No. 150, is now placed at 22nd position which explains how well she has done to reach where she is at this point.
