Emma Raducanu
Emma Raducanu is currently one of the most famous player on the WTA tour. Ever since her US Open triumph, she has become an household name and is currently the most marketable player on tour. Her British connection alongwith multi cultural background makes her a marketable dream. This year, she overtook the likes of Naomi Osaka in the prize money earned and hence is projected as the next big thing.
Latest, Emma joined hands with Evian water- an established sparkling water brand. Evian is a uniquely sourced spring water that’s always refreshing and naturally hydrating, with nothing added for taste or enhanced with extras – so one can reach natural peak.
The Brit took to social media to announce their partnership. “I’m honored to join the @evianwater team! Evian is an iconic brand & a champion of tennis and the younger generation, which is why I’m proud to join their family,” she wrote.
“Being an athlete, healthy hydration continues to be of the upmost importance to my day-to-day activity so I’m excited to partner with evian and can’t wait to see what’s next!” she added.
Emma Raducanu fairytale season
Raducanu started the year outside the top 300 and was consistent on the ITF circuit. She made headlines at Wimbledon when she reached the fourth round as a wildcard on grand slam debut. She was also the last British singles player left in the tournament But her fairytale run came to an unfortunate end when she had to retire mid match against Ajla Tomljanovic in the fourth round due to breathing difficulties.
A month later in only her second major, Raducanu scripted history at Flushing Meadows be becoming the first qualifier ever to win a grand slam. And she won the major without dropping a single set- speaking volumes of her feat.
