Novak Djokovic will enter the French Open 2021 as the top seed. The Serbian was defeated in the finals of Roland Garros last year. He lost in straight sets to the Spaniard, Rafael Nadal. Djokovic has managed to claim just one Roland Garros title till date, after he defeated Andy Murray in the finals in 2016.

This time, Novak Djokovic is in the same half of the draw as his fierce rivals, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. More importantly, this is the first time ever that all of the Big Three players are in the same half of the French Open draw. Novak Djokovic can face Roger Federer in the quarterfinals, and a battle with Rafael Nadal in the semifinals in Paris. This means that we cannot witness a clash between two of the Big Three rivals in the finals this year.

“It’s the first time it happens. Only one man will reach the final and I hope to be that man. Facing Roger would be very cool but it’s a long way to go,” said Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic will face the American, Tennys Sandgren in the first round of the French Open 2021. Meanwhile, Roger Federer will face Denis Istomin, and Rafael Nadal will face Alexei Popyrin.
