The 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has a very mixed equation with tennis fans all over the globe. While the Serbian has many haters, he also has a lot of loyal fans who have stuck with him through the years.

Djokovic knows how to win the hearts of his fans. Recently, the reigning US Open champion found another opportunity to closely interact with one of his fans as he sponsored a full paid trip to Turin, Italy, for the fan to meet the Serbian legend. Nole was apparently very mesmerized by the artwork of his fan, which compelled him to do this.

The World No.1 recently hosted one of his fans, Lorenzo Petrini, at his hotel during his ATP Finals campaign in Turin. Djokovic has reached the semi-finals of the tournament as he took some time out of his busy schedule to spend some quality time with his disabled fan, who also happens to be an artist.

This is not all as the 7 time Wimbledon also received a customized painting of his backhand at all 4 Grand Slam. Fascinated at this artwork by the fan, Djokovic signed a Lacoste hat and expressed his gratitude towards his special fan.

Novak Djokovic will face Jannik Sinner as he eyes a 7th title at the ATP Finals

The World No.1 won against Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the ATP Finals. He has looked good so far, with his only loss coming to Jannik Sinner in the group stage of the tournament. The 6 time ATP Finals champion is only equal to Roger Federer and will aim to break the Swiss’ record by trying to win a record-breaking 7th ATP Finals title.

Against the Spanish youngster, Djokovic was at his absolute best, triumphing in straight sets (6-3, 6-2). Djokovic will be going against the only man who has beaten him in 5 months and the initial stage of the ATP Finals, Jannik Sinner. The final between the Italian young-gun and the 24-time Major winner will take place on Sunday.

The Serbian will also finish the year as the World No.1 for the 8th time in his career as his rivals, especially Carlos Alcaraz, failed to perform well at the Asian leg of the tournament, thereby losing out the chance to dethrone Nole from the first spot.
