Coco Gauff
Coco Gauff has made a name for herself in a relatively young career. At 17 years of age, Gauff is regarded as the next big thing in tennis by numerous experts and fans alike. Born to athletes, Coco experimented with a lot of sports before finally choosing tennis as a career option.
Coco was highly inspired by the Williams sisters which pushed her to keep her focus on the game. Moreover, the early-boomer enjoyed a lot of success at the ITF Junior Circuit and earned a sponsorship to train at Patrick Mouratoglou’s academy in France. The young sensation hasn’t looked back since then.

Recently, Coco was asked about which player she would like to be friends with to which the star player replied by saying, “definitely Nick Kyrgios.” Coco claimed that Nick is super fun and super kind and said that he even played ping pong with her brother when they met during the Citi Open.
Although Nick is known for being notorious and passing sarcastic comments, especially on Novak Djokovic, the Aussies has develop a nice comradery with the teenager from America.
Immediately showing that he also shares a great bond with Coco, Nick replied to her answer by saying that he can’t wait to watch the sensational player in action and that he has a lot of ping pong lessons to share with her as well. He said, “Anytime!!! You are going to do great things in this sport and I can’t wait to watch. I got plenty more ping pong lessons as well.”
Lately, Nick hasn’t been in the best of forms, to say the least. The Aussie last tried his hand in the Citi Open at Washington where he lost in his very first encounter. Nick was defeated in the round of 64 by finalist Mackenzie McDonald in straight sets without much hassle.
Earlier, Kyrgios picked up an injury while he was in Wimbledon due to which he had to withdraw from the Tokyo Olympics as well. With the US Open in sight, the Australian would like to regain form as soon as possible.
