5th seed Hubert Hurkacz has been in amazing form this season. He surprised everyone by winning the Miami Masters earlier this year and also reached the semifinal at Wimbledon where he beat Roger Federer in the quarterfinal. He then made it to the quarterfinal of the Toronto Masters and reached the Round of 16 at Cincinnati Masters. Post the US Open, he won the Moselle Open without dropping a set and reached the quarterfinals at Indian Wells.

3-time grand slam champion Andy Murray has been active on tour post the US Open but hasn’t produced any standout result yet. He underwent a hip surgery two years ago and ever since then, hasn’t been able to regain his old form. He pushed third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas to five sets in the first round at US Open and then reached the quarterfinal of the Moselle Open.

He then made it to the Round of 16 at the San Diego Open and won a couple of good matches at Indian Wells. Last week in Antwerp, he battled past Frances Tiafoe in the opening round before losing to second seed Diego Schwartzman in the Round of 16.
