World No. 26 and the 21st seeded Cameron Norrie will be up against World No. 36 and the 29th seeded Nikoloz Basilashvili in what will be their second meeting on the Tour and also the second of the season. Cameron defeated Tennys Sandgren, Roberto Bautista Agut and Tommy Paul in rounds 2, 3 and 4 respectively winning the three clashes in 3-setters. In the quarter-finals, he defeated Diego Schwartzman dropping a bagel in the first set to win the match 6-0, 6-2. In the semis, he defeated Grigor Dimitrov who was having a great week having defeated top-seed Daniil Medvedev in an epic comeback match.
Nikoloz started with a win over Christopher Eubanks and went on to defeat Albert Ramos-Vinolas in 3-sets before taking down Olympics silver medallist Karen Khachanov in straight-sets. In the quarter-finals, he took down Stefanos Tsitsipas in a thrilling fashion before getting the better of Taylor Fritz to advance into the finals.
